All bookings are confirmed only after the booking form and paperwork are signed and returned and all relevant deposits are paid.
Venue hire secures your Wedding/Event at The Duke of Gordon. The relevant accommodation deposits for bedrooms must also be paid to guarantee the bedroom bookings.
Deposits for Weddings / Events are non-refundable or transferable.
In the event of a cancellation the following cancellation charges will be applicable
-28-20 weeks prior to the event 30% of the estimated value
-19-12 weeks prior to the event 50% of the estimated value
-12 weeks prior to the event 80% of the estimated value.
-It is advisable that you take out Wedding insurance for cover for any unforeseen cancellation.
Six months prior to the event 50% of your invoice is due to be paid.
Eight weeks prior to your event the remainder of the final account is due.
The Hotel reserves the right to add any items missed by previous billing to your account
Special dietary requirements need to be arranged 4 weeks prior to the event
Check in after 2pm unless special arrangements have been made
Check out by 10 am unless special arrangements have been made
The Duke of Gordon reserve the right to alter pricing without prior notification
The Hotel shall not be responsible for failure to provide facilities contracted for the event if it is being prevented from doing so as a result of “force majeure”or any other cause beyond its control.
The Hotel reserves the right to alter function rooms depending on guest numbers
No outside alcohols can be brought onto or consumed on the property
The Hotel reserves the right to charge full room tariff should we not be able to sell the room for any of the following reasons
-SMOKING IN THE ROOM
-Breakages in the room rendering it unable to sell
-Specialist cleaning including carpet shampooing
Rooms are on a request basis only and we may need to amend your booking details.
We cannot accept responsibility for outside contractors.
In the event of cancellation we regret that no deposits are refundable
Cancellations must be given in writing.
In all cases Scottish law prevails.
We have a 7 day lost and found policy it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all personal
items are checked before departure. |
